description El interés por la sostenibilidad en la investigación del consumidor ha crecido significativamente, destacando dos áreas clave: el consumo basado en acceso y el anti-consumo. Aunque se han exploradas principalmente por separado, este estudio examina su relación a través de una revisión sistemática de la literatura con el desarrollo de un marco integrado que esclarece su relación. Para profundizar en esta conexión, se presenta el desarrollo y validación de una escala de anti-consumo orientado al ambiente (EOA), diseñada para medir comportamientos de reducción de consumo con motivaciones ambientales. Mediante análisis factoriales exploratorios y confirmatorios, la escala se estructuró en cuatro dimensiones, diferenciándose de otros estilos de anti-consumo como la frugalidad, la simplificación voluntaria y el minimalismo. Además, se llevó a cabo un análisis experimental para distinguir entre el EOA y el anti-consumo impulsado por motivaciones personales (PMA), explorando su impacto en la preferencia por el consumo basado en acceso y la elección de servicios sostenibles. Se evaluó el papel del mindfulness y el enfoque de presentación del servicio como moderadores en esta relación. Los hallazgos resaltan la importancia de considerar las diversas motivaciones detrás del anti-consumo y su influencia en comportamientos de consumo sostenible, ofreciendo nuevas perspectivas teóricas y recomendaciones para futuras investigaciones.

Aunque se han exploradas principalmente por separado, este estudio examina su relación a través de una revisión sistemática de la literatura con el desarrollo de un marco integrado que esclarece su relación. Para profundizar en esta conexión, se presenta el desarrollo y validación de una escala de anti-consumo orientado al ambiente (EOA), diseñada para medir comportamientos de reducción de consumo con motivaciones ambientales. Mediante análisis factoriales exploratorios y confirmatorios, la escala se estructuró en cuatro dimensiones, diferenciándose de otros estilos de anti-consumo como la frugalidad, la simplificación voluntaria y el minimalismo. Además, se llevó a cabo un análisis experimental para distinguir entre el EOA y el anti-consumo impulsado por motivaciones personales (PMA), explorando su impacto en la preferencia por el consumo basado en acceso y la elección de servicios sostenibles. Se evaluó el papel del mindfulness y el enfoque de presentación del servicio como moderadores en esta relación.
