Estos vestigios de violencia, impregnados con sustancias que arrastran a las generaciones hacia un ciclo de enfermedades, junto con los desastres naturales que afectan la zona, dan paso a una nueva posibilidad en los olvidados contenedores abovedados: la regeneración de un espacio que, al transformar y revelar su configuración, puede ofrecer refugio y resiliencia a quienes aún sufren sus secuelas. La toxicidad se convierte en un terreno fértil para la investigación, y la aflicción, en una nueva mirada sobre la salud desde el bienestar. Toda esta nueva sistematización, contenida en un NO-Bunker, se revela desde la elevación y se resguarda desde la contaminación de la Tierra.Where the echo of war still resonates, the bunkers abandoned by the U.S. military have become monuments to forgetfulness and toxicity in Vieques, Puerto Rico. These remnants of violence, impregnated with substances that drag generations into a cycle of diseases, along with the natural disasters affecting the area, give way to a new possibility in the forgotten vaulted containers: the regeneration of a space that, by transforming and revealing its configuration, can offer refuge and resilience to those still suffering from its aftermath. Toxicity becomes fertile ground for research, and affliction, a new perspective on health through well-being.
