La deshumanización médica y la falta de empatía en la relación médico-paciente es una situación que ha cobrado importancia en nuestro país a raíz de los parámetros que impone el sistema de salud y la falta de formación en este aspecto en las Facultades de Medicina y de Ciencias de la Salud. A través de la asignatura electiva “El arte de la magia”, en la que se enseña la técnica de magiaterapia, se pretende que los estudiantes de la Escuela de Medicina y Ciencias de la Salud de la Universidad del Rosario, Bogotá, desarrollen habilidades de humanización y empatía hacia sus pacientes. Se medirá el impacto que genera la magiaterapia sobre dichos aspectos por medio de un estudio cualitativo. |
