El proyecto busca la creación de herramientas terapéuticas adecuadas para la terapia miofuncional la cual permite la educación y reeducación de los músculos orafaciales en niños con desequilibrio muscular orofacial en especial niños Down entre los 5 a los 10 años edad con un componente altamente emocional y psicológico que permitirá la desdramatización del elemento y la apropiación de la terapia por parte del usuario. Desarrollándose en contextos institucionales siendo estos colegios y fundaciones como también en el hogar donde se analizó las necesidades particulares de cada uno como todos los usuarios que intervienen en la actividad además de consultar fuentes de información bibliográficas y especialistas en el tema para la creación de propuestas de diseño que respondieran a estas carencias y fueron puestas a prueba en un contexto real. Es allí donde nace como respuesta Neuro Cosmos un kit que a través de herramientas de ejercicios orofaciales que permite la gradación de fuerza y resistencia la educación y reeducación de los músculos orofaciales para el desarrollo de habilidades como la inteligibilidad del habla, la deglución, la respiración, la propiocepción, la sensibilidad, la coordinación, la tonalidad y el fortalecimiento muscular en materiales que responden a unas necesidades de higiene y costos como lo son el PP, la silicona libre BPA y el PLA. El valor diferencial que tiene este producto en el mercado es la desdramatización del elemento que se logró por medio de un leguaje estético y la forma de uso flexible que puede ser utilizada de forma asistida o autónoma por su usuario principal además de entender los contextos y la necesidad desechables seguros en su uso, higiénicos, reciclables o biodegradables industrialmente. |

Developing in institutional contexts being these schools and foundations as well as in the home where the particular needs of each one were analyzed as all the users who take part in the activity besides consulting bibliographic information sources and specialists in the subject for the creation of proposals for design that responded to these shortcomings and were put to the test in a real context. It is there that Neuro Cosmos is born as a kit that through orofacial exercise tools that allows the gradation of strength and resistance education and re-education of the orofacial muscles for the development of skills such as speech intelligibility, swallowing, breathing , proprioception, sensitivity, coordination, tonality and muscle strengthening in materials that respond to hygiene needs and costs such as PP, silicone free BPA and PLA.
