La inestabilidad plantar es una condición frecuente que afecta la articulación metatarsofalángica, causando dolor y alteración funcional. Este estudio observacional prospectivo evaluó a 383 pacientes para determinar la efectividad de tratamientos conservadores, especialmente el taping funcional. El 85.6% de los pacientes recibió taping, ya fuera como tratamiento único o combinado, y mostró una asociación significativa con la mejoría clínica (p < 0.0001). No se halló relación entre el número de artejos comprometidos y el desenlace clínico. Estos hallazgos respaldan el uso del taping como una opción terapéutica eficaz y de bajo riesgo. |
