Los sistemas respiratorio, cardíaco y nervioso se ven mayormente afectados, lo que plantea desafíos tanto para la salud pública como clínica.Médico CirujanoPregradoThe post-COVID syndrome, characterized by the persistence of symptoms following infection, has an adverse impact on patients' quality of life and mental health. Studies conducted in multiple countries have revealed a high incidence of this syndrome, with a significant proportion of patients experiencing persistent symptoms. Understanding post-COVID syndrome and its repercussion on quality of life is essential for providing adequate care. Instruments such as WHOQOL and SEIQoL-DW have been employed to assess the quality of life of affected patients. A systematic literature review was conducted using the PRISMA protocol for Scoping reviews. Article searches were performed in PubMed, Embase, and Scopus related to post-COVID-19 syndrome and its impact on quality of life, applying inclusion and exclusion criteria, resulting in the selection of 14 articles for analysis. It was observed that the majority of studies were cohort and cross-sectional in nature, and various scales were used to measure quality of life. Persistent symptoms included respiratory, cardiovascular, neurological, and musculoskeletal problems, as well as socioemotional and occupational impairments. The presence of comorbidities increased the risk of post-COVID syndrome. This review highlights that post-COVID syndrome affects quality of life in physical, socioemotional, and occupational aspects, persisting for months. The most commonly used instruments to assess it are EQ5D-5L and SF-12. The respiratory, cardiac, and nervous systems are predominantly affected, posing challenges for both public health and clinical practice.application/pdfAttribution 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/Acceso abiertohttps://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2http://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2Impactos en la saludCalidad de vidaComplicaciones de Covid-19Covid-19 prolongadoImpacts on HealthQuality of LifeCovid-19 complicationsLong Covid-19W100Revisión de la literatura del impacto de la calidad de vida en pacientes con enfermedad post-covidLiterature review of the impact of quality of life on patients with post-COVID diseaseMedicinaUniversidad El BosqueFacultad de MedicinaTesis/Trabajo de grado - Monografía - Pregradohttps://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_7a1fhttp://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_7a1finfo:eu-repo/semantics/bachelorThesishttps://purl.org/coar/version/c_ab4af688f83e57aa1.
