La siguiente investigación tiene como objetivo diseñar una estrategia para la prevención de Mutilación Genital Femenina para las niñas y mujeres indígenas Emberá del Departamento del Chocó, que permita abordar la problemática a nivel individual, familiar y comunitaria, para esto, se realizó una exhaustiva revisión documental tomando como referencia el año de 1993 hasta la fecha, debido a que en Colombia las investigaciones en mutilación genital femenina son mínimas y se requiere describir la MGF, la cosmovisión de los pueblos indígenas frente a esta práctica, identificar las estrategias que se han venido realizando a nivel mundial en prevención de la MGF y con ello extrapolar la información con el fin de establecer procesos de prevención primaria y secundaria frente a la MGF basadas en la interculturalidad, en las que se encuentran acciones intramurales y extramurales para los profesionales de psicología. |
