This "Equivalent Law" transgression bases both Freud and Marx concepts.El autor toma la transferencia como legado freudiano. Además de formular la transferencia misma del paciente como regalo, establece una relación entre ésta y la plusvalía. Para ello resalta tanto el papel adjudicado por Freud al trabajo como resultante de la represión de la femineidad tras el asesinato del padre, como la transgresión de "La ley de equivalentes que rige el intercambio entre humanos".
