Generación ConCiencia es un programa de innovación social y educativa que promueve las vocaciones científicas en niños, niñas y jóvenes de Santander desde el año 2014. De esta manera, durante casi una década de trayectoria ha consolidado su trabajo impulsando el desarrollo rural mediante el fomento de la CTeI en instituciones educativas de la región, a partir de la implementación del programa Ondas de Minciencias; así como de la formación en CTeI con semilleros de investigación y jóvenes investigadores vinculados a grupos de investigación en universidades del departamento. En el documento se presentarán los resultados del proyecto en su segundo año de ejecución, resaltando los avances de investigación de los 60 grupos de Ondas adscritos a esta iniciativa en el año 2023. El objetivo de cada proyecto es clave: el desarrollo de sus territorios mediante procesos que van desde el empoderamiento de su memoria histórica, hasta el aprovechamiento de sus recursos para ofrecer soluciones innovadoras en sus comunidades. |

For almost a decade, it has consolidated its work promoting rural development by fostering science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) in the region's educational institutions, based on the implementation of the Ondas program of the Ministry of Sciences (MINSCIENCIAS), as well as through STEM training with research incubators and young researchers associated with research groups at universities in the department. The document will present the results of the project in its second year of implementation, highlighting the research progress of the 60 Ondas groups participating in this initiative in 2023.
