La importancia de esta práctica principalmente es la formulación de proyectos, realización de licencias y certificados. En la metodología se explica cómo es el proceso para formular un proyecto, desde el análisis de documentos hasta la revisión de presupuesto y planos. De igual manera, se realiza una descripción de las licencias de subdivisión y los certificados de uso de suelo.
