The air medicalized transport of patients is a service that has positively impacted in the health sector by facilitating the access to users of the most remote areas of the country and to foreign users that choose Colombia as a destination for conducting health procedures. The ability to bring patients from other regions of Colombia and around the world requires Medicalized aviation unit strengthened and able to meet the demand not only for the Cardiovascular Foundation of Colombia but for other health institutions. FCV puts into operation the new international medical complex HOSPITAL International Hospital of Colombia HIC
and with it
there is an increase of the demand of patients that require health care and medicalized airlift as a supplementary service; Therefore
the AIR TRANSPORT UNIT must consider a Strategic Plan whose structure firstly responds to an external analysis of factors that makes part of the surrounding environment of the organization
an internal analysis of the functioning of the company
a strategic direction for establishing key actions that will help to achieve business objectives
growth and business strengthening
and finally the realization of these objectives into concrete action plans to execute a given term compliance with established goals.

De esta manera, la UNIDAD DE TRANSPORTE AEREO debe considerar un Plan Estratégico cuya estructura obedezca en primera medida a un análisis externo de los factores que hacen parte del medio que rodea la organización, un análisis interno del funcionamiento de la compañía, un direccionamiento estratégico para establecer acciones claves que ayuden al logro de los objetivos comerciales, de crecimiento y fortalecimiento empresarial, y finalmente la materialización de estos objetivos en planes de acción concretos a ejecutar a un determinado plazo para el cumplimiento de las metas establecidas.
