Las fuerzas armadas del Estado colombiano pretendieron ganar una guerra a toda costa, recurriendo a estrategias no convencionales que arrojaran resultados contundentes sobre el enemigo. La mano fuerte encontró terreno fértil en contra de colombianos provenientes de estratos populares que, atraídos por múltiples engaños, promesas, secuestros entre otros graves delitos fueron llevados a zonas de conflicto, donde se encargaban de ultimarlos para reportarlos luego como guerrilleros muertos en combate. A esto se le denominó; desapariciones forzadas y asesinatos presentados como bajas en combate por agentes del Estado o mal llamados “falsos positivos” en Colombia. La elaboración de esta obra va más allá de ser un Anti-monumento o memorial que busca hablar de la vida, busca recordar, aprender del pasado, la memoria colectiva, la suma de memorias individuales, el paso del tiempo, la perdida, el olvido, el azar y, sobre todo, la condición humana. Una obra que busca dar a las personas desaparecidas y asesinadas, un lugar permanente en nuestra memoria a través de la instalación artística. Una propuesta en formato tridimensional, conformada por volúmenes en forma rectangular en acrílico transparente y madera componiendo en su agrupación un muro, que contienen los nombres y objetos de las personas desaparecidas víctimas de las ejecuciones extrajudiciales por parte del estado colombiano, generando la construcción de la memoria, haciendo que cada pieza sea personal, humana y centrada, un muro transparente, que permite movilizar su memoria y hacer visible lo invisible. |

The mighty hand found fertile ground against Colombians from popular strata that, attracted by multiple scams, promises, kidnappings, among other serious crimes, were taken to zones of conflict, where they would be murdered to be reported later on as guerrillas killed in combat. This is known as enforced disappearances and assassinations presented as combat casualties by agents of the State or wrongly named “false positives” in Colombia. The elaboration of this work goes beyond being an Anti-monument or a memorial that speaks of life, it attempts to remember, learn from the past, the collective memory, the sum of individual memories, the pass of time, the loss, the oblivion, the chance, and above all, the human condition. An artwork that gives the people who disappear and were murdered, a permanent location in our memory through the artistic installation.
