The management of supply chains can improve their performance
which benefits the actors who compose any link are improved. The project carried focuses on the production chain of orange in the municipality of Lebrija and presents an analysis and a proposed model to shorten the links
improving product quality and benefits to stakeholders through the approaches of equity and participation . By implementing the management model of the production chain orange post-harvest losses are reduced due to the reduction in transport time and less handling by no stops at the wholesale plazas and retail and concludes that it is feasible perform intervention to the production chain from any level
either by creating a model of sole distribution where a producer brings his oranges to certain customers in the city every time you have product offering or making an association of several producers and bringing more products to more number of clients; which carries more useful and well-being for the two ends of the chain producer and consumer. By participating producer to end customer marketing spaces that give additional benefits to participation in other roles and the greatest economic benefit
but the opportunity to purchase products and services that do not normally have access are created. Using a methodology for analyzing production chains facilitates understanding of concepts related by the actors and simplifies the work of making information and interpretation of it.
