La búsqueda de artículos de investigación se realizó en bases de datos científicas (Dialnet, Scielo, Ebsco, Pubmed, ScienceDirect, Redalyc y Google Académico) entre los años 2007–2021, a partir de los descriptores; capacidades perceptivo motrices OR Desarrollo motor OR capacidades coordinativas AND educación escolar OR Educación infantil, específicamente en idioma español, inglés y portugués. Los indicadores bibliométricos se digitaron en una macro en Excel (Resumen Analítico de Investigación) y se analizaron en la misma hoja de cálculo con el apoyo del software Atlas Ti. Resultados: El descriptor que presenta mayores resultados (42,4%) en la búsqueda en las diferentes bases de datos, es el de capacidades perceptivo motrices; no obstante, el concepto más generalizado encontrado al interior de los artículos hace referencia a lo coordinativo. España (28,8%) y Colombia (24,2%) fueron los países donde más trabajos se encontraron. Desde el punto de vista metodológico, es la investigación cuantitativa la que suele ocuparse de esta temática en la mayoría de los casos (78,8%). Conclusiones: Al parecer el concepto de capacidades coordinativas, es teóricamente el más generalizado para referirse a las capacidades perceptivo motrices, sin embargo, al relacionarlo con otros términos, como desarrollo motor y la percepción, terminan casi siempre refiriéndose a acciones o tareas de temporalidad, corporalidad, equilibrio, coordinación y espacialidad. Además, los países con mayor productividad científica en esta área fueron España y Colombia y metodológicamente el tipo de investigación cuantitativa fue el que prevalece. |

Methodology: A documentary review was carried out. The search for research articles was carried out in scientific databases (Dialnet, Scielo, Ebsco, Pubmed, ScienceDirect, Redalyc and Google Scholar) between the years 2007 - 2021, based on the descriptors; perceptual motor skills OR Motor development OR Coordination skills AND school education OR Early childhood education, specifically in Spanish, English and Portuguese. The bibliometric indicators were entered in an Excel macro (Research Analytical Summary) and analyzed in the same spreadsheet with the support of Atlas Ti software. Results: The descriptor with the highest results (42.4%) in the search in the different databases is that of perceptual-motor skills; however, the most generalized concept found within the articles refers to coordination. Spain (28.8%) and Colombia (24.2%) were the countries where most papers were found. From the methodological point of view, it is quantitative research that usually deals with this subject matter in most cases (78.8%). Conclusions: It seems that the concept of coordinative capacities, is theoretically the most generalized to refer to perceptual-motor capacities, however, when relating it to other terms, such as motor development and perception, they almost always end up referring to actions or tasks of temporality, corporeality, balance, coordination and spatiality.
