description ABSTRACT: This work is derived from the macro project Body culture as a synthesis site in the social construction of fear as a model of identity in conflict scenarios (2006-2009), and the study Imprints somatic-city culture of the displaced towards Medellin (2010-2012). Objective: To identify the food practices place during accommodation process of Afro-Colombian population, in the context of exile in Medellín-Colombia. Methodology: It is a reflexive ethnography study. Interviews, visual records, observations, and workshops were developed. Results: The study allowed us to understand the identity rol of feeding practices from three points of view: longing, preferences, and possible thinks. Experiences from an unknown context, and contrast between culinary collections and food offer in Medellin mediates the identity reconfiguration from population displaced by the conflict in Medellín.

Objetivo: identificar el lugar de las prácticas alimentarias en el proceso de acomodación de la población afrodescendiente, de cara a la experiencia del destierro en Colombia. Metodología: obedece a la perspectiva de la etnografía reflexiva, implementada con entrevistas, registros visuales, observaciones y talleres.
