Para el cuidado de estos pacientes es indispensable tener en cuenta en los servicios de urgencias los siguientes principios • Protección personal universal (guantes, gafas y tapabocas) • Seguridad evaluación de peligros y asegurarse que no haya ninguna que amenace su vida. • Evaluar la situación: qué paso, edad, mecanismo de lesión y número de personas involucradas. • Activar el Sistema de Emergencia, solicitar apoyo necesario. The role of the nurse is primary and indispensable in the initial care of patients with multiple trauma.
