RESUMEN: El presente trabajo investigativo busca generar prácticas de ocio y tiempo libre como espacios formativos que contribuyan de forma positiva en la vivencia de la discapacidad visual de los jóvenes, adultos y familias pertenecientes a la Fundación Aula 5 Sentidos. Éste fue planeado, ejecutado y analizado durante los años 2021 y 2022, a través de una metodología de carácter cualitativo, con un enfoque crítico social, por medio del método investigación acción. En este proceso participaron 14 personas en total, 10 de ellas estudiantes con DV entre los 14 y 36 años de edad, y 4 madres sin DV. Dentro de los hallazgos más significativos, aparecen los beneficios que brindan las experiencias de ocio en la construcción identitaria de los estudiantes, las interacciones con el medio y el reconocimiento social. Además, se identificó la incidencia tanto positiva como negativa de la familia y el entorno, siendo factores determinantes para la participación de las PcDV en dichas experiencias. Asimismo, se logró crear reflexiones en torno a los espacios formativos obteniendo como conclusión principal que las prácticas de ocio y tiempo libre, favorecen a las PcDV en el reconocimiento como sujetos de participación social. |

The planning, execution and analysis of this research were developed during the years 2021 and 2021, using a qualitative analysis methodology with a critical social approach and the action research method. The research process accounted 14 people, 10 of the participants have visual disability and are between 14 and 36 years of age, and the remaining 4 participants are mothers without visual disability. The most significant findings are the benefits provided by leisure practices and activities in the identity construction process of the students, the interactions with the environment and the social recognition. In addition, both the positive and negative impact of the family and the environment were identified as determining factors for the participation of people with visual disability in these sessions and experiences.
