El objetivo de esta investigación fue caracterizar las publicaciones científicas relacionadas con medicina en la obra del filósofo francés, siguiendo las fases de identificación, tamización e inclusión de la guía PRISMA. La incidencia de este autor en la antropología y sociología médica es evidente. Sin embargo, hay un vacío considerable en temas referidos a la ética médica. Estos hallazgos constituyen un insumo valioso para mejorar las investigaciones sobre la ontología del presente, desde metodologías foucaultianas, en áreas poco exploradas como la medicina basada en la evidencia, la molecularización del diagnóstico clínico, el creciente interés por el discurso de las neurociencias y la autogestión del bienestar en las sociedades actuales.

The objective of this research was to characterize the scientific publications related with medicine in the work of the French philosopher, following the phases of identification, screening, eligibility and inclusion of PRISMA guide. The incidence of Foucault in medical anthropology and medical sociology is clear. However, one of the topics with less research is Foucault's contribution to the field of medical ethics.
