Así pues, revisar conceptos como los de provocación, liberación y autonomía nos permite rescatar a coreógrafos y bailarines que también hicieron grandes contribuciones a las vanguardias y viceversa. Tal es el caso de Isadora Duncan, Löie Fuller y los Ballets Suecos, entre otros. Todo esto para llegar a la conclusión de que la exigencia estética y conceptual que se le hizo a la danza en aquella época, sigue teniendo total validez y vigencia en la reflexión actual sobre la disciplina.
