RESUMEN : Este proyecto de grado se centra en potenciar las habilidades comunicativas y expresivas de los participantes del grupo teatral El Dorado mediante la puesta en escena de la obra "Gold Gym". El objetivo general fue desarrollar estas habilidades en el semestre 2023-1, utilizando una metodología cualitativa que incluye grupos focales y observación participante. La intervención permitió a los actores, adultos mayores del municipio Bello, explorar y expresar sus experiencias personales a través de técnicas teatrales, mejorando su capacidad para crear y representar personajes. El análisis muestra que la metodología no solo fortaleció las habilidades escénicas, sino que también proporcionó un espacio de socialización y autodescubrimiento. Las funciones de la obra, realizadas con un aforo completo, evidenciaron un crecimiento significativo en la expresión y narrativa de los participantes. El proyecto subraya la importancia del teatro en el empoderamiento y la conexión social de los adultos mayores, destacando cómo el arte puede transformar vidas y comunidades. |

The primary objective was to develop these skills using a qualitative methodology that incorporated focus groups and participant observation. This approach allowed senior actors from Bello to delve into and articulate their personal experiences through theatrical techniques, leading to significant improvements in their ability to create and portray characters. The findings indicate that the methodology not only strengthened the participants' theatrical skills but also provided a meaningful space for social interaction and self-discovery. The successful performances of the play, which enjoyed full attendance, showcased notable advancements in the participants' expressive and narrative capabilities.
