description RESUMEN: En lesiones, hemorragias y traumas, el organismo pone en juego una serie de mecanismos compensadores con el fin de mantener la perfusión a los órganos vitales. Al asegurar la perfusión, preserva la función celular, la integridad de los procesos y previene la formación de trombos, que serán causa de mala perfusión cuando se restablezca la circulación; entre estos mecanismos compensadores están la descarga adrenérgica y liberación de catecolaminas, renina, agniotensina y aldosterona, y de factor natriurético auricular, que contribuyen a la homeostasis hemodinámica. Cuando los mecanismos de compensación no son suficientes o porque la solución de la lesión se prolonga en el tiempo, es necesaria la utilización de medicamentos que ayudan al organismo en el ajuste y adaptación para hacer frente a los efectos de un trauma, enfermedad o lesión. Palabras claves: Medicamentos, infusiones, cuidados de enfermeríaABSTRACT: In lesions, hemorrhaging and trauma the organism puts into play a series of compensation mechanisms with the end goal of maintaining perfusion to the vital organs; by assuring perfusion it preserves cellular function, the integrity of the processes and it prevents the formation of thrombus, which would be a cause for poor perfusion when circulation is re-established; among these compensation mechanisms there are adrenergic discharges and the release of catecholamine, de rennin, angiotonin and aldosterone and an auricular natriuretic factor which contributes to the hemodynamic homeostasis.
