RESUMEN: Este artículo expone resultados de la investigación en torno de ciudad y ciudadanía en jóvenes escolares en tres ciudades colombianas, Bogotá, Medellín y Manizales. Partiendo de la hipótesis de ciudad como un fluido de relaciones caracterizadas por la fragmentación, la instantaneidad y las múltiples redes de intercambio, dentro de las cuales los individuos construyen sus experiencias, este artículo muestra las distintas formas de entender la ciudad y la ciudadanía por parte de jóvenes escolares, en el marco de lo que denominamos la experiencia vivida, como categoría que permite comprender la construcción de sujetos y los procesos de reflexividad que se juegan en las prácticas sociales llevadas a cabo por los individuos en contextos macrodimensional y microdimensional en las sociedades contemporáneas. Lo anterior permite mostrar los nuevos sentidos que las culturas juveniles dan a categorías como la política y lo político, la ciudadanía y el derecho a la ciudad, así como los escenarios urbanos donde suceden procesos de interpelación y de constitución de subjetividades y de ciudadanías juveniles. |

Lo anterior permite mostrar los nuevos sentidos que las culturas juveniles dan a categorías como la política y lo político, la ciudadanía y el derecho a la ciudad, así como los escenarios urbanos donde suceden procesos de interpelación y de constitución de subjetividades y de ciudadanías juveniles.ABSTARCT: This present article exposes results of the investigation around city and citizenship in school youths in three Colombian cities, Bogotá, Medellín and Manizales. Leaving of the hypothesis of the city as a fluid of relationships characterized by the fragmentation, the instantaneous moments and the multiple exchange nets, in which the individuals build their experiences, this article shows the different forms of understanding the city and the citizenship on the part of school youths, framed in what we denominate the experience of life, as category that allows to understand the construction of subjects and the reflexive processes that are played ins the social practices carried out by the individuals, both in macrodimensional and microdimensional contexts in the contemporary societies.
