description ABSTRACT: Among the social practices in which historical analysis allows us to identify the emergence of new forms of subjectivity are the aesthetic practices of education in moral life habits that were imparted in schools in Medellín during the nineteen century through Physical Education discourses. Their study will allow us to pose questions about the social conditions to which the individual is subjected; about the set of procedures and processes whereby the individual is constituted in a certain way, based on the aesthetic experience imposed by the discourses; about the position that he/she is to occupy at a particular time in history; about the experiences that make up the knowledge about the body. In summary, it is a matter of knowing how Physical Education discourses develop a mastery of facts, practices, and thoughts for the formation of an aesthetic experience of morality aimed at educarion about the body.

In summary, it is a matter of knowing how Physical Education discourses develop a mastery of facts, practices, and thoughts for the formation of an aesthetic experience of morality aimed at educarion about the body.RESUMEN: Entre las prácticas sociales, en las que el análisis histórico permite localizar la emergencia de nuevas formas de subjetividad, están las prácticas estéticas de educación en hábitos de vida moral que se imparten en la escuela del siglo XIX en Medellín, a través de los discursos de la Educación Física. El estudio de ellas nos permitirá preguntarnos por las condiciones sociales a las que está sometido el sujeto; por el conjunto de procedimientos y procesos mediante los cuales el sujeto se constituye de una cierta manera desde la experiencia estética que imponen los discursos; por la posición que este sujeto ha de ocupar en determinado momento histórico; por las experiencias que forman el conocimiento sobre el cuerpo.
