Description
Summary:ABSTRACT: Among the social practices in which historical analysis allows us to identify the emergence of new forms of subjectivity are the aesthetic practices of education in moral life habits that were imparted in schools in Medellín during the nineteen century through Physical Education discourses. Their study will allow us to pose questions about the social conditions to which the individual is subjected; about the set of procedures and processes whereby the individual is constituted in a certain way, based on the aesthetic experience imposed by the discourses; about the position that he/she is to occupy at a particular time in history; about the experiences that make up the knowledge about the body. In summary, it is a matter of knowing how Physical Education discourses develop a mastery of facts, practices, and thoughts for the formation of an aesthetic experience of morality aimed at educarion about the body.
