RESUMEN: En el presente informe exponemos algunas reflexiones del proceso práctico realizado con juventudes desde la personería municipal de Andes. La población juvenil se ha caracterizado por la poca participación en los procesos implementados por la alcaldía municipal, pues la falta de voluntad política, la falta de compromiso y confianza han sido algunas de las razones justificantes de los jóvenes. Sin embargo, en este colectivo se identifica una falta de interés participativo, pero también se reconoce en ellos el empoderamiento y un sentido de pertenencia por el territorio y la apropiación que tienen del tema de la juventud, y de su rol como jóvenes. Este grupo etario representa pluralidad, diversidad y a su vez esto los hace blanco de señalamientos, y estigmatización alrededor de su condición como joven, ocasionando una exclusión desde la sociedad misma y desde la institucionalidad, lo que lleva a que no sean comprendidas, ni tenidas en cuenta sus verdaderas necesidades. Esto hace que en temas como el suicidio no se les preste la atención necesaria debido a los imaginarios creados socioculturalmente desde hace tiempo, lo que hace aún más complejo el romper con estos, llevando a su vez a procesos de negligencia y problemáticas y/o necesidad insatisfechas o sin solucionar. |

The youth population has been characterized by little participation in the processes implemented by the municipal mayor's office, since the lack of political will, the lack of commitment and trust have been some of the justifying reasons of the young people. However, in this group a lack of participatory interest is identified, but their empowerment and a sense of belonging to the territory and the appropriation they have of the issue of youth, and of their role as young people, is also recognized.
