RESUMEN: rste trabajo de investigación describe las violencias basadas en odio y discriminación que son ejercidas hacia la población gay y mujeres trans del municipio de Campoalegre Huila, lo anterior debido a la cultura machista y homofóbica perteneciente a los ciudadanos de este municipio, es tan grave el asunto, que hasta casos de asesinatos se han generado a integrantes de esta comunidad, algunos de ellos muy sonados a nivel municipal y regional. A lo largo de este escrito, se detallarán vivencias personales del autor, en relación a esta problemática cuando vivió en este municipio, como también la perspectiva etnográfica que hace de este asunto a través de las vivencias de otras personas pertenecientes a la misma población afectada. Ha sido el método de recolección de testimonios el que ha permito generar los insumos que hacen de este trabajo investigativo el primer estudio realizado sobre esta temática en este lugar. |

Throughout this paper, the author's personal experiences will be detailed, in relation to this problem when he lived in this municipality, as well as the ethnographic perspective that he makes of this matter through the experiences of other people belonging to the same affected population.
