In this work we will focus on the particular case of pion photoproduction to evaluate, analytically and numerically through an effective Lagrangian approach (ELA) model, physical observables such as the total cross-section and the multipole amplitudes which are compared with available experimental data to extract the relevant coupling constants of the nucleon resonances.
