RESUMEN: Esta investigación en la que se hace un análisis exhaustivo tiene como objetivo principal explorar el uso del objeto cotidiano en las artes plásticas en Colombia durante un periodo de 60 años (1960 - 2020) y examinar los matices técnicos y conceptuales que han surgido a lo largo de este tiempo. Con este fin se hizo una selección de trece artistas y un colectivo, sus obras son las protagonistas de esta tesis doctoral y se constituyen como una muestra representativa del fenómeno estudiado. Para contextualizar y seleccionar las obras que representan dicho fenómeno, se llevó a cabo un rastreo detallado del trabajo de un amplio número de artistas colombianos. Con base en este acervo se armó un corpus de análisis que permitió dar cuenta de los orígenes, transformaciones, efectos y aportes que el uso del objeto cotidiano en el arte ha tenido en la construcción histórica de la plástica nacional. En este trabajo se presenta una línea discursiva temporal ascendente basada en un análisis detallado de las obras seleccionadas. En dicho análisis se revelan las diversas formas en que el objeto cotidiano ha sido un elemento recurrente en el arte colombiano, las diversas técnicas utilizadas, los conceptos y su evolución a lo largo del tiempo. |

For this purpose, thirteen artists and one collective were selected; their works are the protagonists of this doctoral thesis and they are a representative sample of the phenomenon studied. In order to contextualize and select the works that represented this phenomenon, a detailed search of the work of many Colombian artists was carried out. Based on this collection, a corpus of analysis was assembled that made it possible to account for the origins, transformations, effects, and contributions that the use of the daily object in art has had in the historical construction of the national plastic arts. This work presents an ascending temporal discursive line based on a detailed analysis of the selected works.
