RESUMEN: El estado de la cuestión es un momento en la investigación cualitativa con enfoque hermenéutico, que intenta comprender e interpretar el nivel alcanzado de un conocimiento en torno a la producción científica reciente sobre el asunto que se desea investigar. Para ir al círculo de la comprensión se buscan los textos productos de investigaciones científicas en los sistemas de información documental. Esta pesquisa arroja datos que se representan iconográficamente, de los cuales se selecciona la información más relevante, según el punto de vista del investigador, para ser leída desde un proceso hermenéutico: reflexionando, analizando y comparando, se establece lo igual y lo diferente y se detectan las unidades de significación, para comprenderlas e interpretarlas con el propósito de avalar un problema de investigación con su respectiva hipótesis y abrir un horizonte posible de creación. |

To understand this subject thoroughly, researchers explore documentary information systems in search for texts produced as a result of scientific research.
