Por iniciativa de organismos internacionales como la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) y la Organización de las Naciones Unidas (ONU) se han fijado metas para la reducción de estas tasas, a través de un enfoque transversal, centrado en la gestión de la seguridad vial. En el presente proyecto se desarrollará un estudio de movilidad en el tramo 4.1 km de la conexión vial Guillermo Gaviria Correa, entre la carrera 77 con calle 60 y la entrada al Túnel de Occidente, con el fin de reconocer su estado y las dinámicas de su entorno. Este se efectuará en cuatro etapas que tendrán en cuenta la geometría de la vía, la accidentalidad y el entorno de la vía, para finalmente obtener un diagnóstico que exponga los hallazgos.

Due to international organizations initiative, such as World Health Organization (WHO), and The United Nations (UN), there have been stablished rate reduction targets for these issues through a transversal approach, focused on the road safety management. In this project there is going to be developed a mobility study for the Guillermo Gaviria Correa’s 4.1 km section, between the corner of 77th avenue and 60th street, and the entrance of the Túnel de Occidente, to recognize its current conditions and the dynamics of the environment around it.
