En este artículo se aduce que la creciente desconexión entre la teoría de composición en lengua extranjera, así como la agresiva promoción de subregistros mercantilizados, han conspirado en contra del desarrollo de enfoques más democráticos hacia el quehacer científico en la así llamada “periferia de la investigación”.
