RESUMEN: Este artículo surge de una investigación documental cuyo objetivo fue identificar las posturas conceptuales sobre la Educación Física presentes en la investigación educativa producida en Colombia entre 1998 y 2012. Se hizo un análisis de contenido de las investigaciones que indagan en el marco de la Educación Física “sobre lo que educa o sirve para educar”. Se identificaron 213 investigaciones educativas desarrolladas en el contexto de la Educación Física y, tras ser analizadas, se identificaron las perspectivas conceptuales (corrientes, tendencias o escuelas de pensamiento) de educación física, de cuerpo y de motricidad, lo que significa un abordaje de los elementos constitutivos de estos campos de investigación. Las conclusiones muestran un predominio de la corriente teórica de la psicomotricidad y la perspectiva conceptual marcada por el deporte, una tendencia educativa moral y la emergencia de nuevas descripciones epistémicas. |

Las conclusiones muestran un predominio de la corriente teórica de la psicomotricidad y la perspectiva conceptual marcada por el deporte, una tendencia educativa moral y la emergencia de nuevas descripciones epistémicas.ABSTRACT: This paper is based on documentary research aimed at identifying the conceptual approaches to Physical Education in educational research carried out in Colombia between 1998 and 2012. Analysis was made of the content of research carried out in the context of Physical Education “on what educates or serves to educate”. A total of 213 pieces of educational research relating to Physical Education were identified and analyzed with regard to their conceptual perspectives (currents, tendencies, or schools of thought) on Physical Education, the body, and mobility, representing an approach to the constitutive elements of these fields of research.
