RESUMEN: En Colombia a partir de la Constitución Política de 1991 se ha hecho reconocimiento de la diversidad étnica existente en el país, así pues se ven incluídas las comunidades NARP (Negras, Afrocolombianas, Raizales y Palenqueras), indígenas y Room o gitanas; así pues dichos grupos étnicos han generado múltiples luchas por la defensa y reivindicación de sus derechos entre los que se incluye el derecho a la Educación, una educación inclusiva y de calidad frente la que han logrado avances significativos a nivel normativo, no obstante en la actualidad se continúa presentando la necesidad de reclamar y vigilar el cumplimiento de este derecho fundamental. El presente informe de prácticas se da pues en el campo de prácticas de la Universidad de Antioquia, Permanencia Universitaria, en la ruta de acompañamiento a aspirantes, admitidos y estudiantes de grupos étnicos; allí desde una perspectiva de Trabajo Social se logra realizar una intervención en apoyo al fortalecimiento de dicha ruta para velar por el acceso y permanencia en la educación superior para el éxito en la trayectoria académica de quienes pertenecen a grupos étnicos reconociendo a su vez las barreras que se presentan en dicho proceso desde las particularidades y condiciones históricas de esta población, para aportar a que el Alma Máter sea inclusiva, diversa y accesible. |
