RESUMEN: Vida de un idiota es una novela del escritor japonés Akutagawa Ryūnosuke publicada en 1927, cuya inusual estructura fragmentaria genera un particular interés literario. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo establecer la forma del fragmento como estructura arquitectónica que configura la estética de la obra a partir de la contemplación de la belleza inane como elemento epifánico que revela el sinsentido de la existencia. Con este propósito, la teoría del fragmento del crítico Kazimierz Bartoszynski, aunado al planteamiento de Jacques Rancière denominado El inconsciente estético, constituyen el marco teórico que cimienta este estudio. Además, el análisis se sustenta en una metodología fenomenológico-hermenéutica, más específicamente con el método teleológico propuesto por Mijail Bajtin, por lo que se emplean diferentes herramientas narratológicas y de análisis poético según una lectura jerarquizada por niveles (historia, narración y discurso). De esta forma, a partir de la aplicación teórica y metódica descrita anteriormente se logra concluir que la estética de Vida de un idiota se sustenta en la reflexión ontológica originada por la percepción sensorial del mundo físico, la cual conduce a la revelación del sinsentido como verdad ineludible; todo ello consolidado gracias a la forma del fragmento. |

This research aims to establish the fragment as an arquitectonic form that configure the novel esthetic starting from the inane beauty contemplation as an epiphanic element that reveals the senseless of existence. With this purpose, the Theory of fragment by the critic Kazimierz Bartoszynski together with Jacques Rancière’s proposal entitled The Aesthetic unconscious, is the theoretical framework that withstands this study. Furthermore, the analysis is supported by a phenomenological-hermeneutic methodology, specifically with the teleological method proposed by Mikhail Bakhtin, therefore, different narratological and poetic analysis tools are used according to a hierarchical reading by levels (story, narration, and discourse).
