La realización del trabajo contribuye al fomento y preservación de la tradición, enriqueciéndola y transmitiéndola de manera significativa a niños, jóvenes y adultos, promoviendo así la valoración y el arraigo cultural en la comunidad pueblorriqueña. |

To achieve this, as dance researchers, we will conduct interviews with historians and panela producers, in addition to analyzing documents from the historical archive about the ‘panela’ tradition in the region, and also a formal analysis of the dance. These elements will allow us to understand and document the genesis and evolution of the dance.
