Likewise, the author analyzes if the constitutional and legal regulations aimed at protecting the elderly must ensure the satisfaction of the basic needs of such people and the effective enjoyment of a dignified life in terms of labor and pensions. With this in mind, extensive and thorough review and interpretation of the regulations and constitutional jurisprudence was conducted in order to determine if the aging-related policies included in our Political Charter are being developed. |

With this in mind, extensive and thorough review and interpretation of the regulations and constitutional jurisprudence was conducted in order to determine if the aging-related policies included in our Political Charter are being developed.RESUMEN: En la actualidad, se discute la necesidad de un amparo jurídico eficaz para las personas con limitaciones en la vejez. Desde esta perspectiva, en este artículo se analiza si existe una debida protección laboral al limitado en la vejez desde la deficiencia física, síquica y sensorial y si las normas constitucionales y legales, que ordenan proteger a las personas de la tercera edad, deben adoptar medidas que garanticen la satisfacción de sus necesidades básicas y el goce efectivo de una vida digna en el ámbito laboral y pensional.
