RESUMEN: Este trabajo explora los procesos de construcción de memoria de dos adultos mayores residentes del corregimiento de El Pedregal-Nariño, a través del análisis de las interrupciones en sus conversaciones cotidianas, su relación con el espacio que habitan y las entidades no humanas con las que lo comparten, y la preparación de recetas familiares como estrategias de construcción y reconstrucción de la memoria, desde la óptica de su nieta como investigadora. Propone abordar de una forma alternativa la memoria, controvirtiendo la concepción tradicional de que los recuerdos y la memoria deben ser coherentes y lineales, y del mismo modo dando importancia a expresiones y manifestaciones no verbales de esta. La metodología del trabajo de campo no se define estrictamente como observación participante, pues le apuesta al compromiso de descentrar el conocimiento de la academia y acercarse a una relación más horizontal en la que todos los involucrados están en la misma posición en la construcción de conocimiento. |

It proposes an alternative approach to memory, challenging the traditional conception that remembering and memory should be coherent and linear, while also emphasizing the importance of non-verbal expressions and manifestations of memory.
