RESUMEN: Esta investigación busca comprender la experiencia de presión psicológica en la práctica deportiva de un grupo de siete futbolistas infantiles del municipio de Apartadó. Se hace desde la perspectiva de investigación cualitativa, bajo el paradigma interpretativo y, en congruencia con el paradigma, se realiza desde un enfoque fenomenológico hermenéutico, centrando su atención en la comprensión de la experiencia individual tal y como se desenvuelve naturalmente. Para la recolección de información se utilizó la entrevista semiestructurada, y para el análisis de la información se utilizó el modelo de la teoría fundamentada y la triangulación de datos. Se encontró que las presiones eran ejercidas por la familia, entrenador, espectadores, compañeros y sí mismo; experimentando miedos por la evaluación negativa de las personas y por defraudarlas, preocupación por el rendimiento y devenir deportivo, y malestar psicológico; que estaban asociadas con las expectativas económica, el reconocimiento social y las metas personales; y que generaban impactos en el desempeño deportivo, en el bienestar psicológico, y en problemas para el relacionamiento social con sus pares. |

It is carried out from the perspective of qualitative research, under the interpretive paradigm and, in congruence with the paradigm, it is carried out from a hermeneutic phenomenological approach, focusing attention on the understanding of individual experience as it develops naturally. The semi-structured interview was used to collect information, and for the analysis of the information it used the grounded theory model.
