RESUMEN: Esta investigación tiene por objetivo conocer los pensamientos que tienen los estudiantes de bachillerato sobre la clase de Educación Física en una institución educativa del municipio de Chigorodó. La investigación es de tipo cualitativa con enfoque etnográfico, en la cual, se aplicó una entrevista estructurada de 11 preguntas a 140 alumnos de edades comprendidas entre los 12 y 16 años en cinco grupos de secundaria. Los datos obtenidos fueron informatizados en Excel. Respectos a los resultados, estos indican que los estudiantes de bachillerato piensan que la clase de educación física es para realizar prácticas deportivas, realizar ejercicio físico y jugar, demostrando poco interés cuando se utiliza el cuaderno o se permanece en el aula, además, de ratificar su afinación por los deportes de pelota como lo es el fútbol y voleibol. |

The research is qualitative with an ethnographic approach, in which a structured interview was applied of 11 questions to 140 students between the ages of 12 and 16 in five secondary school groups. The data obtained was computerized in Excel.
