RESUMEN Este Trabajo de Grado en Modalidad Ensayo Académico, tiene como punto de partida las prácticas docentes para el pregrado en Licenciatura en Educación: Artes Plásticas en la ciudad de Medellín, durante las cuales se realizó una intervención teórico- práctica, de un talleres intensivos de educación para el trabajo y el desarrollo humano, antes denominado educación no formal, ofrecidos en la Corporación TECOC, del municipio de Bello, Antioquia. A lo largo de las actividades definidas para este taller, se tuvo como base para la reflexión la siguiente pregunta: ¿cómo generar hoy en el contexto colombiano, en escenarios dentro y fuera del aula de clase, la integración de saberes y prácticas del arte y de la ciencia, donde los procesos cuenten con libertad de ser, desde sus particularidades y características, permitiendo a los estudiantes descubrir, crear diálogos y conexiones entre los saberes artísticos y científicos? Mediante la aplicación de la Investigación Acción Participativa (IAP), se construyó un espacio que reunió propuestas interdisciplinarias, a la vez que posibilitó evidenciar una fuerte y provechosa relación entre arte y ciencia, en tanto consiguió integrar los saberes científicos y artísticos, y sus prácticas, en la construcción de nuevos conocimientos. Estos nuevos conocimientos tienen, como podría esperarse, una repercusión en la sociedad, haciéndose visible a través de una percepción ampliada sobre la realidad y los problemas que diariamente se enfrentan, valorando la relación e interacción entre arte y ciencia. Sus convergencias.ABSTRACT This Degree Project in Academic Essay Modality, has as a starting point the teaching practices for the undergraduate degree in Education: Plastic Arts in the city of Medellín, during which a theoretical-practical intervention was carried out, of an intensive educational workshops for work and human development, previously called non-formal education, offered at the TECOC Corporation, in the municipality of Bello, Antioquia. Throughout the activities defined for this workshop, the following question was taken as a basis for reflection: how generate, in the colombian present times and at the same time inside and ouside of the classrooms, the integration of the knowledges and practices of art and science, where the processes have the freedom to be, from their particularities and characteristics, allowing students to discover, create dialogues and connections between artistic and scientific knowledge? Through the application of Participatory Action Research (PAR), a space was built that brought together interdisciplinary proposals, while making it possible to demonstrate a strong and profitable relationship between art and science, as it managed to integrate scientific and artistic knowledge, and their practices , in the construction of new knowledge. This new knowledge has, as might be expected, an impact on society, becoming visible through an expanded perception of reality and the problems faced daily, valuing the relationship and interaction between art and science.
