O texto apresenta inicialmente o contexto da guerra na Colômbia, em seguida descreve o debate sobre a memoria histórica dos últimos anos e, por fim, destaca algumas expressões de memória das vítimas da guerra. |

How can we acknowledge memory when the past is not left behind? When violence is a continuous present? This is the challenge facing Colombian society today. The article analyzes the different expressions of memory in the context of violence in Colombia and proposes the hypothesis that victims of war develop tactical actions to express what their memories say, in the sense given by Michel de Certeau.
