A partir de este caso, se busca reflexionar críticamente sobre la articulación comunitaria y la identificación de posibles formas de inclusión y exclusión que pueden derivarse del turismo en contextos que buscan la construcción de paz. En consecuencia, se propone como objetivo explorar la manera en que la actividad turística puede ser gestionada de tal manera que se eviten brechas a nivel comunitario que obstaculicen su articulación y cohesión. Esto busca que el turismo contribuya a las iniciativas de construcción de paz en un territorio que experimentó violencia armada por parte de grupos armados ilegales, llegando al punto crítico de provocar el desplazamiento forzado del 100% de sus habitantes en el año 2000, debido a enfrentamientos entre la guerrilla de las FARC (Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia) y grupos paramilitares en su lucha por el control territorial. La relevancia de este proyecto radica en la necesidad de plantear estrategias efectivas para promover el turismo como una herramienta de articulación social en comunidades con procesos de construcción de paz, teniendo en cuenta que el municipio de San Luis ha buscado posicionarse como un referente turístico que contribuya en dejar atrás el estigma violento como consecuencia del conflicto armado.

From this case, we seek to critically reflect on community articulation and the identification of possible forms of inclusion and exclusion that can be derived from tourism in contexts that seek peacebuilding. Consequently, the objective is to explore the way in which tourism activity can be managed in such a way as to avoid gaps at the community level that hinder its articulation and cohesion. This seeks for tourism to contribute to peace-building initiatives in a territory that experienced armed violence by illegal armed groups, reaching the critical point of provoking the forced displacement of 100% of its inhabitants in 2000, due to confrontations between the FARC (Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia) guerrilla and paramilitary groups in their struggle for territorial control.
