El objetivo principal de la práctica fue sensibilizar a habitantes del municipio sobre las violencias basadas en género y actos de discriminación contra mujeres y personas con orientación sexual e identidad de género diversa, con el fin de contribuir a su prevención y propiciar la construcción de relaciones en equidad. Para dar cumplimiento a dicho objetivo, las teorías feministas y la perspectiva de género sirvieron de referencia para comprender las relaciones jerárquicas de poder en la sociedad, como también, para orientar la acción con estrategias de reflexión crítica, participación, empoderamiento y formación, con las cuales se reconoció el potencial transformador de las personas participantes para una vida digna y para la construcción de territorios libres de violencias basadas en género. |

The main objective of the practice was to sensitize the population of the town regarding the violence based on gender and acts of discrimination against women and people with a diversity in their sexual orientation and gender identity, with ends to contribute to the prevention and to propitiate the building of relationships in equity.
