Con el paso del tiempo el quehacer de la profesión se ha posicionado en un lugar diferente al de la caridad, sin embargo, con el afán del día a día se operativiza la intervención, dejando de lado la fundamentación teórica que es la base del accionar para impactar de una manera mucho más trascendental e intencionada en las usuarias, quienes están permeadas por condiciones específicas que influyen en el afrontamiento o no de su diagnóstico, por lo tanto, se apuesta por una atención que incorpore un enfoque de género que tenga presente las particularidades y el contexto que conforma la vida de estas mujeres, quienes atraviesan una realidad socialmente estigmatizada como lo es vivir con VIH. |
