RESUMEN: La investigación en el área de español como lengua adicional (ELA) en Colombia ha crecido en el transcurso de los últimos años, ya sea por motivaciones turísticas, académicas, comerciales, migratorias o de realización personal, tal como lo registra el Instituto Cervantes (2023) en su último reporte Español lengua viva. Luego de múltiples iniciativas institucionales y estatales para incrementar el turismo y promover la apertura económica, el español de Colombia se ha posicionado como una variante de referencia. Esto ha implicado que se problematice su enseñanza y que haya más interés por su análisis y descripción como lengua adicional. En la línea investigativa del área, han surgido estados del arte o revisiones bibliográficas que intentan mostrar el panorama general, didáctico o del uso de materiales del ELA dentro del territorio colombiano. Sin embargo, no existe todavía una publicación sistemática, actualizada, completa y con un enfoque netamente lingüístico que dé cuenta de cómo se ha trabajado el léxico en ese ámbito. Por lo anterior, desde un enfoque cualitativo-interpretativo y con el apoyo de una matriz bibliográfica, este artículo organizó y precisó categorías conceptuales que permitieron sistematizar y analizar las investigaciones que han abordado este nivel de análisis lingüístico (lexicología y lexicografía) desde la perspectiva del español como lengua adicional en Colombia. En los resultados, se encontró que la mayoría de ellas desembocan en la creación de propuestas didácticas que son útiles para enseñar y problematizar algunos detalles sobre las variantes lingüísticas del país; hacen una interfaz con otras disciplinas o niveles de análisis lingüístico; y dejan ver que la ciudad que más producción académica tiene al respecto es Bogotá, especialmente en las líneas de trabajos de grado de maestría y pregrado. |

Following multiple institutional and state initiatives to increase tourism and promote economic openness, Colombian Spanish has positioned itself as a reference variant. This has led to a re-evaluation of its teaching and a growing interest in its analysis and description as an additional language. Within the research focus of this area, state-of-the-art reviews or bibliographic revisions have emerged that aim to show the general landscape, didactic approaches, or the use of SAL materials within Colombian territory. However, there is still no systematic, updated, comprehensive publication with a purely linguistic focus that accounts for how the lexicon has been addressed in this field. Therefore, from a qualitative-interpretative approach and with the support of a bibliographic matrix, this article organized and specified conceptual categories that allowed for the systematization and analysis of research that has tackled this level of linguistic analysis (lexicology and lexicography) from the perspective of Spanish as an additional language in Colombia.
