Dichas normas se fundamentan desde la implementación de la ley 100 de 1993, la cual establece lineamientos para la calidad de la atención y el Sistema Obligatorio de Garantía de Calidad en Salud (SOGCS) con sus componentes de acreditación, sistemas de información, habilitación y auditorias para la calidad en salud los cuales son el insumo base para que las IPS adopten estándares y medidas para la seguridad del paciente y la mejora continua. El desarrollo de este trabajo se alinea con el objetivo de generar una estrategia basada en herramientas de sistematización para el reporte y gestión de eventos adversos en el Hospital María Auxiliadora del municipio de Chigorodó, se busca principalmente mejorar el seguimiento de indicadores y facilitar la toma de decisiones a través de la disponibilidad y oportunidad de la información derivada del proceso de reporte de eventos adversos. Se adopta una metodología mixta con fines de optimizar la gestión de la seguridad del paciente, la cual se basó en identificar los puntos más deficientes del reporte de eventos adversos para luego priorizarlos y mediante la identificación y aplicación de la herramienta de digitalización centrar los esfuerzos en la optimización de este proceso. |

These standards are based on the implementation of Law 100 of 1993, which establishes guidelines for quality of care and the Compulsory Health Quality Assurance System (SOGCS) with its components of accreditation, information systems, Quality assurance and audits in health, which are the basic input for PSU to adopt standards and measures for patient safety and continuous improvement. The development of this work is aligned with the objective of generating a strategy based on systematization tools for reporting and management of adverse events at the Hospital María Auxiliadora in the municipality of Chigorodó, the main objective is to improve indicator tracking and facilitate decision-making through the availability and timeliness of information derived from the adverse event reporting process.
