A partir de su identidad y las prácticas que la ponen en escena los skaters significan, habitan y transforman territorios; desarrollan ejercicios de territorialidad mediante los cuales apropian el espacio; entran en interacción con otros actores e instituciones configurando relaciones de poder por el control de los territorios; y construyen estrategias de participación desde las cuales ganan incidencia y revindican sus derechos ante la institucionalidad.
