Er ist im Bereich der Lehrwerkkritik und innerhalb dieser der Ziegruppeneignungsstudie zu verorten. Diese Analyse wird in drei Schritten vollzogen, zunächst wird die institutionelle Ebene betrachtet, dann die Lernerebene und schließlich die Ebene der Lehrkräfte. Die Analyse wird am Beispiel des Alexander von Humboldt Instituts Medellin illustriert.
