RESUMEN: El momento presente, tiempo de profundas crisis y punto de inflexión marcado por la pandemia y otras graves tragedias climáticas que afrontamos, amerita dirigir la mirada en perspectiva crítica esperanzadora. Con base en el reconocimiento de nuestra vulnerabilidad y finitud, así como de la gravedad de lo que nos acontece, es necesario considerar que –aún– estamos a tiempo de hacer un tránsito hacia la sustentabilidad y la dignificación de la vida en todas sus manifestaciones; un proceso constructivo que requiere poner en-acción una Ética del Cuidado y de la Compasión, es decir, exige el despliegue de una Sabiduría Ética de base Espiritual que, orientada por la razón cordial, interpele las dinámicas culturales inmanentes al holocausto ambiental que vi-vimos. A estas cuestiones nos referimos en el artículo, cuyo hilo vertebrador es el reconocimiento del potencial que tienen algunas propuestas educativas en la configuración de subjetividades ético-políticas centradas en el cuidado. |

A estas cuestiones nos referimos en el artículo, cuyo hilo vertebrador es el reconocimiento del potencial que tienen algunas propuestas educativas en la configuración de subjetividades ético-políticas centradas en el cuidado.ABSTRACT: The present moment, a time of profound crises and a turning point marked by the pandemic and other serious climate tragedies we are facing, mer-its a critical and hopeful outlook. Based on the recognition of our vulnerability and finitude, as well as the seriousness of what is happening to us, it is necessary to consider that we are still in time to make a transition towards sustainability and the dignity of life in all its manifestations; a constructive process that re-quires putting into action an Ethics of Care and Compassion, that is, it demands the deployment of a Spiritually based Ethical Wisdom that, guided by cordial reason, questions the cultural dynamics immanent to the environmental holo-caust we are experiencing.
