description RESUMEN: El objetivo de este artículo fue realizar una revisión bibliográfica como descripción general del estado actual de los principales aspectos asociados a la gestión tecnológica y su relación con el desempeño de los sistemas especializados de leche. El sector lechero cuenta con una estructura de mercado imperfecta, alta atomización de la oferta del pequeño productor, bajos volúmenes de producción, altos costos de producción, baja visión empresarial, rezago tecnológico y dualismo técnico sectorial, productividades desiguales y eslabonamiento de intermediación. Todos estos aspectos configuran, en parte, el marco general nacional en el que es necesario insertar todo análisis que pretenda comprender la necesidad de la gestión tecnológica como alternativa que permita equilibrar los poderes entre los diferentes agentes del mercado.

Todos estos aspectos configuran, en parte, el marco general nacional en el que es necesario insertar todo análisis que pretenda comprender la necesidad de la gestión tecnológica como alternativa que permita equilibrar los poderes entre los diferentes agentes del mercado.ABSTRACT: The purpose of this article was to conduct a literature review about the general description of the current state of the main aspects associated with the technology management and its relationship to the performance of specialized milk systems. The dairy sector has an imperfect market structure, high fragmentation of supply of small producers, low production volumes and high costs, low corporate vision in managing, technological backwardness and sectorial technical dualism, uneven productivity and linkage as a heterogeneous intermediation and diluted earnings distributed regressively for the producer.
